Download

Keep your day in the dock.

Daylot installs on Mac and Windows as a real desktop app: its own window, no tabs, no address bar. Same board, same data, and it opens whether or not you are online.

macOS

Install it from your browser

Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Arc add Daylot to your dock in one click. Safari 17 and later does it from File, then “Add to Dock”. Nothing to download, nothing to keep updated.

Windows

Get it from the Microsoft Store

Installs and updates like any other Windows app, and opens from the Start menu and taskbar. Free to install, and you sign in with your Daylot account.

The Daylot board running in its own desktop window

Getting started

Three steps, then it is just there.

  1. 1

    Open Daylot in your browser

Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Arc all install it in one click. Safari 17 and later works too, with one extra menu.

  2. 2

    Add it to your dock

In a Chromium browser, click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or the Install Daylot button above when your browser offers one. In Safari, choose File, then "Add to Dock".

  3. 3

    Launch it from the dock

Daylot opens in its own window with no tabs and no address bar. Right-click the dock icon and choose Options, then "Keep in Dock" so it stays there.

What you get

The same app, wherever you opened it.

Works with no connection

The board lives on your machine. Planes, trains, and dead Wi-Fi change nothing.

End-to-end encrypted

Tasks are encrypted before they leave the device. Daylot cannot read them.

Always up to date

The app is the site. There is no separate build to download again next month.

On a phone or tablet, the same install works from the browser menu: “Add to Home Screen” on iPhone and iPad, “Install app” on Android.

Questions

Before you install.

Is there a Mac app for Daylot?
Yes. Daylot installs from your browser as a real macOS app: it lives in the dock, opens in its own window with no tabs or address bar, and works offline. There is no separate .dmg to download, because the installed app and the site are the same program.
Is there a Windows app for Daylot?
Yes. Daylot is on the Microsoft Store, so it installs and updates like any other Windows app and opens from the Start menu and taskbar. Chrome and Edge can also install it directly if you would rather skip the Store.
Is the desktop app different from the website?
No. The desktop app runs the same code as daylot.app, so a feature that ships to the site is already in the app. There is nothing to update by hand and no version to fall behind.
Does Daylot work offline on the desktop?
Yes. Your board is stored on your own machine, so Daylot opens and works with no connection. Changes sync when you come back online, and every task is end-to-end encrypted, so Daylot cannot read them.
Do I have to install anything to use Daylot?
No. Daylot works in any modern browser. Installing it only changes where it lives: a dock or taskbar icon instead of a tab you have to find.
